About Lindsay Hagemann

Lindsay Hagemann is in her 5th year of the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  Her primary focus is on the construction management option of the curriculum.  In December 2009, she will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree.  Upon graduation, Lindsay will be granted EIT status as a result of passing the Fundamental of Engineering exam in the fall of 2007.

Lindsay first interned for the architecture/engineering firm Bernier, Carr, & Associates in Watertown, NY and spent three summers and four winters with BCA.  While working at BCA, she performed deed research for the surveying department; performed take-offs, writing funding applications, engineering reports, project research, and presentations for the civil engineering division; and a variety of project management activities for the construction management division.

The following two summers, 2007 and 2008, Lindsay obtained internships as an Office Engineer with Holder Construction Company.  She spent 2007 working on Phase I of a 485,000 SF data center in Elk Grove Village, Ill.  In 2008, Lindsay worked on two data center projects, Mid-Atlantic Data Center 4 and 5, located in Ashburn, VA.  She had the opportunity to manage several tenant build-out projects from start to finish on ACC4, while continuing to head up the close-out process and assist the LEED tracking progress for MADC.

Outside of Penn State academics, Lindsay was a member of the Division 1 Women’s Lacrosse team from 2004-2008.  She is currently assisting the coaching staff for the remainder of her time at Penn State.
