Senior Thesis Reflection

AE481W/482 Course Reflection

. Overall, the AE Senior Thesis project was a rewarding yet challenging learning experience. The process allowed me to research further into design topics to develop a greater understanding of many building systems. These skills would not be acquired through a typical class because of the time dedication necessary therefore having a separate class dedicated to one project over the year is very beneficial.

. Time was not always on my side especially with a large square footage of my building but I learned how to manage my time better through the process of creating schedules and deadlines for myself.

CPEP Reflection

. The Capstone Project e-Portfolio enables organization of assignments, documents, and other accomplishments and allows future employers to browse the interactive website. Customized websites let my creativity take over to design a user friendly interface to reflect my preferences. I feel that the CPEP websites are very useful and it has increased my organization and design skills significantly.
