Dennis Walter's Bio

 

Dennis Walter is currently completing his fifth year in the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University. He will graduate in December 2010 with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus on construction management. While at Penn State, Dennis has been a member of student organizations such as S:PACE (The Student Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence) and NAHB (The National Association of Home Builders).

During the past summer, Dennis worked with ISEC, Inc. assisting Project Engineers on a variety of office and field related tasks in conjunction with a number of projects throughout the Baltimore and D.C. areas. During the summer of 2008, Dennis worked for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company on site with a Project Management team at the Westfield Annapolis Mall. During the summer of 2010, Dennis is hoping to obtain an internship focused on construction management in the Baltimore or D.C. area.

Dennis passed his FE Exam in the Fall of 2008 and will have Engineer in Training status after receiving his degree. After graduation, Dennis plans to obtain a position with a company allowing him to apply his breadth of knowledge and skills in building construction to an experienced project management team.

In his free time, Dennis enjoys playing golf, tennis, softball, skiing and snowboarding. Also, he has been involved in several Intramural Softball and Flag Football Teams. Dennis was also a member of both High School Baseball and Golf Teams.
