Justin Miller | Construction Management Option | 2009-2010

Justin Miller is in his 5th year of the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University with a primary focus in the Construction Management Option.  Justin will graduate in May of 2010 with a Bachelors of Architectural Engineering degree.  Justin is a member of the student chapter of MCAA.  Upon graduating, Justin will receive his EIT status as a result of passing the Fundamentals of Engineering Examination in the Fall of 2008.

Justin is heavily interested in Integrated Project Delivery and Building Information Modeling and their applications.  Last summer, he worked as an intern for the Architectural Engineering Department at Penn State University.  Justin worked as a building information modeler, completing a model for the pilot program for the new IPD/BIM Thesis.  While Justin did have experience using the programs of  Revit Architecture, Structures and MEP, the modeling led him to develop custom curtain wall families for the project.

Outside of academics, Justin enjoys many sports.  Justin played ice hockey for more than ten years, from elementary school through high school.  While at Penn State, Justin has been a member of intramural sports including volleyball, flag football and roller hockey.  Justin extensive teamwork experience is a primary reason for his interest in IPD and BIM, which are heavily focused on collaboration.
