Biography

Alexander Hosko is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  In May 2011, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in mechanical systems.  Alexander is a member of the Penn State University Engineering House.


During the past three summers, Alexander participated in mechanical engineering internships with Michael Baker Corporation, Constellation Energy, and Burt, Hill.  Michael Baker Corporation provides professional engineering and consulting services.  Alexander worked in the facilities department, helping to design buildings mainly for the army.  Alexander did similar work at Constellation Energy and Burt, Hill.  However, he made buildings more energy efficient at Constellation and worked primarily on schools and health centers at Burt Hill.  Alexander passed the FE Exam this past spring and will gain EIT status upon graduation.


In his spare time, Alexander has many hobbies including soccer, roller hockey, poker, and stock investing.  Alexander also enjoys following the Pittsburgh Penguins.
