user note:  while great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of cpep, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project.  modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the
interpretation of britnei godusky.  changes  and discrepancies in no way imply that the original designed contained errors or was flawed. differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

britnei godusky is a fifth year senior in the architectural engineering program at penn state.  in december 2011 she graduates with her m.a.e./b.a.e with a focus on lighting and electrical design.  her artistic creativity and fascination with lights and lighting make her excited to attain eit status upon graduation.  she loves skyscrapers and can’t wait to start her lighting career in a big city.

britnei spent seven weeks in rome, italy during the summer of 2010 with the sede di
roma program.  this intense twelve credit program provided her with an appreciation and understanding of italian architecture and history, a love for all things italian, and
redefined her interpretation of beauty.

the second half of her summer and the entirety of summer 2008 were spent as a lighting intern at ewingcole, an ae firm in philadelphia.  working at ewingcole made britnei fall in love with lighting.  as an intern she extensively analyzed daylighting models and
performance, lighting control systems in healthcare and educational settings, and aided in the lighting/electrical design in innovative and sustainable projects.

britnei spent the majority of 2009 as a signals intelligence analyst with the united states army in iraq, just north of baghdad.  she joined the national guard in 2005 because she loved to low crawl in the mud and it ended up changing her life.  cliché as it sounds, the
army taught her the real meaning of loyalty, leadership, dedication, and respect.

britnei loves being involved and is currently the secretary of ies at penn state.  she is a
student mentor in ssae, an active member of swe, and has competed with the nittany all-star cheerleading squad.   britnei fundraised for the penn state dance marathon both as a dancer and as a hospitality committee member.  she loves to travel, and her hardworking, positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning make her an excellent addition to any project team.
