The AE Senior Thesis Project proved to be the most demanding and time consuming work that I have ever completed in my tenure at Penn State University. Although the work was quite burdensome, it was also rewarding in that a multitude of building systems were analyzed throughout the year. This allowed for a great deal of learning of how numerous building system design schematics relate to their applicable problems and solutions in the construction design process. It is this fact then that leads me to believe that the Lighting/ Electrical option had a much greater deal of information required to be analyzed for Senior Thesis. Even though, the two aspects are very closely related the subject matter within those aspects are very different. I think it would be beneficiary to separate these two topics to give students the chance to pursue the two building systems individually.

The Capstone Project e-Portfolio website was an interesting yet progressive way of sharing and submitting thesis work. It was a good way to localize and funnel all work in an organized manner. It also will be a useful tool in sharing work with other students, professors, potential employers, and any other industry or faculty member.
