The AE Senior Thesis project is a challenging but rewarding endeavor that allowed me to use what I had learned in the past five years and expand my knowledge using personal research. This project is a great example of what to expect in the real world and for that reason, it is invaluable to a graduating AE student
The required Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) was a very useful tool for setting deadlines during the spring semester when none were set by the curriculum. Past CPEP websites provided helpful guidance for report layouts and other examples for current students to follow. Faculty, friends and employers were able to view documents that had been completed during the Senior Thesis Project.
