General Description:

The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year-long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. This portion of the AE senior thesis is designed to show the existing conditions under which the building is constructed.

Technical assignment one will provide construction data including preliminary cost estimates, a brief schedule and some of the underlying conditions of the geography and methods of construction used for the Moore Building Addition and Renovation.

Technical Assignment two provides data complementary to Technical Assignment one, included more detailed estimates of the structure and more depth into its pertaining topics in relation to the Moore Building Addition.

This portion of the AE senior thesis is designed to explore ideas and innovations that will assist in more efficient construction.

Technical Assignment three examines the industry’s new trends and suggests applications to the Moore Building Addition through an in-depth analysis of the building.
