Reflection |
Thesis Reflection The AE Senior Thesis project is a year long venture that is required for the Penn State AE program. It is a challenging and demanding project, and made me realize that I had a lot to learn about structural engineering. The foundation in structural engineering that I have gained here at Penn State allowed me to complete this project. I was required to teach myself new concepts and to communicate with my professors and industry professionals when I had questions that I could not answer myself. I was required to set my own schedule and create my own design. I believe that this project has better prepared me for a transition from college to a professional career in engineering.
CPEP Reflection The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) was a requirement for this course, and have been a helpful tool for completing this project. It has provided an easy way to share my work with the AE faculty, future employers, family and friends.
