Student Biography

Shawn Sidelinger is currently in his 5th year of the Architectural Engineering Program at The Pennsylvania State University.  In May of 2011, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, with a primary focus in construction management.  Shawn is a member of the student organization S:PACE (Student Society of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence), and has received several academic awards including multiple appearances on the Dean’s List and an Excellence in Bachelor Engineering from the DuBois Campus of Penn State.


During the past four years, Shawn has worked for KVF Associates, Inc., at one of their several Taco Bell Franchises.  Three of the four years, Shawn has held the position of Shift Manager.  While holding this position, Shawn has learned how to successively manage a work force to be productive, as well as obtained skills in labor cost controls, scheduling work force, ordering materials and has received several certificates for food safety management.


Outside of academics, Shawn enjoys spending time with his fiancée, friends, and family as well as enjoying the cinema world.
