There are three technical reports due in the fall semester of senior year. They provide the foundation for any research that will be conducted in the spring semester.
Technical Report 1 -- Construction Project Management
This report was compiled to evaluate the project from a general project management perspective. The report includes a general project schedule, building systems summary, project cost evaluations, site utilization plans, as well as an analysis of the local conditions, client, project delivery system, and staffing plan.
A revised version of technical report one was posted on October 12th, 2011.
Technical Report 2
-- Cost and Schedule Analysis
This reported was compiled to evaluate the project in depth from a cost and schedule perspective. The report includes a detailed schedule, detailed structural systems cost, general conditions estimate, LEED evaluation, and BIM use evaluation.
A revised version of technical report two was posted on November 16th, 2011.
Technical Report 3
-- Alternate Methods Analysis
This report begins to identifiy areas of the project that are good candidates for research, alternative methods, value engineering, and schedule compression. This report forms the basis for my proposal.
