Andy Penev is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  In May 2013, he will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction management.  In addition to the regular construction course load, Andy has incorporated electrical design classes into his schedule.  Mr. Penev is president of MCAA (Mechanical Contractors Association of America) and a member of NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association).  Andy passed the FE exam in October 2011 and will gain EIT status upon graduation.

During the past three summers and winters, Andy has participated in internships with Westinghouse Electric Co. and Truland.  These experiences have given him valuable understanding and familiarity of the design and construction aspects of a variety of projects.  Andy is looking forward to beginning his professional career in the electrical contracting industry and obtaining his license as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the near future.  Outside of academics, Andy is an avid traveler and enjoys participating in organized sports and outdoor activities.
