Reflection

ABET Outcome Survey, Course and CPEP Reflection.

Couse Reflection

The Senior Thesis project was a very rewarding experience for me. I learned many managing progress during the Fall semester of the course and in the Spring semester I was able to manage my time inorder to complete my final report on schedule. In addition to the time management aspects of the course I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the research and documentation process that is necessary to complete the Thesis requirements. Finally, the work I conducted over the past two semesters has given me a much more in depth perception of the construction industry and the responsibilities that are a part of the every day activities of someone working in the field of construction management. I believe that this Thesis assignment has better prepared me for the industry that I am entering upon graduation.

CPEP Reflection

The Capstone E-Portfolio was one of the more challenging aspects of the senior thesis requirements. I had very little experience in creating websites prior to this year, thus it was very time consuming at first to learn. Overall, I feel that the CPEP site is a good tool for industry members, professors and anyone else that is interested to see the work that is being accomplished throughout the year. I think that the best benefit is having the information archived for the several years, which provides an excellent resource for future 5th year students completing their thesis work.
