Reflection

Senior Thesis Reflection

The Senior Thesis Capstone Project integrated an in-depth examination of the design, planning, and construction phases of the U.S. General Services Administration Headquarters. The techncial reports assigned in the Fall Semester evaluated information regarding the current state of the project. This encouraged students to communicate with the project team to get a better understanding of the building designs and construction processes used in the field. The technical reports resulted in the Final Proposal for areas that were a potential concern to the overall project. These analyses were performed throughout the Spring Semester with the guidance of the Pennsylvania State University Architectural Engineering Faculy and industry professionals. The culmination of these analyses resulted in the completion of the Final Report. The completion of the Senior Thesis Capstone Project proved to be the most challenging and rewarding academic achievenment in the final year of my educational career.

The Capsonte E-Portfolio (CPEP) Reflection

The CPEP proved to be an effective tool for displaying the work completed throughout the year in regards to the Senior Thesis Capstone Project. The accessible and straigtforward nature of the documentation will provide future students as well as faculty members and industry professionals a beneficial resource that will convey a comprehensive look into the U.S. General Services Administration Headquarters.
