REFLECTION

After completing the construction senior capstone project for the spring semester, a strong sense of pride and confidence has been instilled in the students. As the class of 2014 prepares themselves for their professional careers, senior thesis provides a head start into the field of work we will soon be in. The research and propositions for the Charlottesville Community Hospital over the last year made for a great learning experience. The implementation of ideas such as job-site safety, prefabrication, site logistics, and the general construction process have provided great incite for the near future. In summary, this senior project encompasses all of the educational material learned over the past five years, and attempts to bridge the gap between a college education and the professional world.
