Course Reflection
The senior thesis project has proven to be an invaluable learning experience, integrating material from coursework as well as requiring self-learning initiative. Throughout the Architectural Engineering program, a variety of course topics were covered. This project allowed knowledge from each course to be integrated, providing a more complete understanding as to the various aspects of building design and construction. The time management requirements on the part of the student also added to the experience, creating a more realistic experience. In conclusion, the project allows the student to better understand the entirety of the design process while providing the versatility for the student to investigate the topics of most interest to them.
CPEP Comments
The CPEP website proved to be a good medium to present the student’s work, allowing family and friends as well as industry professionals to track the progress of student throughout the year. The implementation of the site also furthers the creativity and organizational skills of the student by obligating them to design and update their individual site.
