Kevin Martyn is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University. He is set to graduate in May 2014 with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, focused in construction management.

This past summer Kevin participated in an internship with Clark Builders Group, a nationally recognized name in the construction industry. He worked in the field supervision on the Solaire Wheaton project which was a new luxury apartment building in Wheaton, MD. Kevin values working in the field, having the opportunity to learn firsthand and see the project come together. In October of 2012 Kevin passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and will gain engineer-in-training (EIT) status upon graduation.  He looks forward to entering the construction industry after earning his degree and establishing himself as a valuable construction professional.

Kevin participated in the Sede di Roma study abroad program in the summer of 2012 where he received class credits to finish the integrated B.A.E/M.A.E. program in five years. He was also part of a Building Information Modeling (BIM) competition team in the spring of 2013 where his interdisciplinary team of six individuals presented to a jury of well-known industry professionals. Outside of class Kevin participated in the Student Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence as well as the United States Green Building Council. In his free time Kevin enjoys boating and water sports on the Chesapeake Bay, playing golf, and working on classic car restorations.
