What do you do in your current position? As a Sales Engineer, I work with industrial applications of automation. Automotive assembly lines, consumer products, and even food and beverage industries use automation in their manufacturing and assembly. It is my job to leverage Rockwell Automation's portfolio of products to improve a companies business operations through efficiency and capacity.

How has your PSU engineering education/experiences helped to get you where you are today? Penn State engineering is an extremely well respected and prestigious program to graduate from. The undergraduate work with real world applications and projects let Penn State-ers stand well ahead of other graduates. Penn State engineering graduates leave school prepared technically and professionally. My internships, student organizations and leadership opportunities are the most valuable takeaways towards my career.

Engineering positions today have a dramatically increased concentration and requirement on skills involving the engineer's speaking, delivery, and leadership. It is no longer a world where GPA can get you where you want to go. It is skills such as these, sharpened through EA, that prepare graduates to find limitless career opportunities.
