Systems Engineer

What do you do in your current position? I am a Systems engineer working on two programs currently, Cryogenics and the Membrane Optic Imager Real-Time Exploitation (MOIRE) program. I work with all of the engineers on each program to ensure that every system is working together properly to make sure the overall program is successful.

How has your PSU engineering education/experiences helped to get you where you are today? I learned so much from Penn State about how to work in teams, collaborate with other people and communicate effectively. Penn State taught me everything I need to know about how to be successful in my career, both with Aerospace material from class and general learning practices taught by professors.

How has your experience as an EA impacted your professional life so far? Engineering Ambassadors has taught me how to convey my thoughts and ideas in ways that aren't typical in a business environment. Our methods are more useful and easier to understand, and my team loves when I put together presentations or present my data in a manner that is more "outside the box". I've also had a lot of experience meeting new people and learning about their strengths and how they would fit into a team environment. EA has done a ton to help me be the best employee possible. Thanks EA!
