What do you do in your current position? Recently, I've been able to get familiar with how the system works at Lowe's. There are four engineers at my current facility that oversee about 600+ employees; we're their help desk.

We also complete projects such as establishing standards and revalidating standards through time studies and creating databases. These standards, in turn, save the company money along with giving the workers money for their hardwork.

How has your PSU engineering education/experiences helped to get you where you are today? PSU has prepared me well: the education has taught me to always be an analytical thinker and question what else can be done to improve what we already have. My education has built my foundation for what my job expects me to already know, and I believe that this preparedness has allowed me to go into each day of work with an open mind so I can learn as much as possible.

How has your experience as an EA impacted your professional life so far? EA has taught me that communication is the absolute key to any environment. My entire day at work consists of communicating with people. I have the confidence that I can present my thoughts clearly whenever I have any questions or concerns. I am so thankful for the experiences I've been given through EA, and I know the communication skills I've learned through by being an Engineering Ambassador will be present for the rest of my professional life.
