Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to come to Penn State because my three older siblings had attended and they all loved it here and have been successful post graduation. I love the plethora of opportunities Penn State offers me with and the ability to be exactly who I want to be.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory so far has been my co-op with Johnson and Johnson which was achieved by being an engineering student. I was able to take a semester off of school to gain in-field work experience and learn about a type of job I could have within the healthcare industry when I graduate. I created a vast network within the company and had a great time exploring another city!

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Stick with it. It gets better! All the "weed-out" classes may seem too hard, but find some friends in your classes and work through the crazy times together. Also remember to have fun! You can easily get caught up in the stresses of school work and exams, but you need to take some time for yourself and enjoy the next four years because they fly by!

What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to get a job in the healthcare industry. I want to get a job in Technical Sales because I love working and interacting with people and teaching them about my field. In sales, I will have the knowledge of how and why the products work and will be able to successfully sell those products to those who need them!

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? I have been apart of the Women's Club Basketball team since my freshman year. This team has been an awesome addition to my experience here at Penn State because it has allowed me to continue my love for the game, participate in THON, travel to different colleges and universities, and above all, make a core group of friends here at school.
