Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to come to Penn State at the very last minute. I had never been to the campus and no one in my family had come here. But Penn State was the perfect mix between excellent academics, strong job opportunities, and affordability I was looking for. So I chose Penn State and I'm so very thankful I made the right choice!

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student took place at 3 a.m. in the library. I had just finished my CAD project in my EDesign class. The project challenged me to use a lot of creative thinking to create the final design. It was so different than anything I'd experience in any other class, and I was so satisfied with the final product!

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Engineering is a challenging major, and requires diligence and hard work on your part. But it is incredibly rewarding, and is worth every bit of effort!

What do you plan to do after graduation? Graduation is still a distance away for me! But for now, I'd like to work a few years before coming back for my Masters.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? I am part of the International Dance Ensemble. My best experiences outside of engineering come from the shows we put on each semester. It is so satisfying to watch all those hours of rehearsal come together in one night. I'm so happy that Penn State engineering gives me the freedom to pursue other interests I have.
