Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to come to Penn State because I knew the engineering school would give me the education that I wanted. I knew that the Computer Science department was filled with great professors who cared about their students and taught real world skills which was very important to me to prepare for industry. Also the career fair could not be beaten because it brought in big names across the country that were excited to hire from Penn State.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? I don't have one specific best memory but a collection of great memories that just consist of the great friends I have made here. As an engineering student, people think we are constantly studying and have no life, but I have met so many great people here that I constantly make memories with, Whether it's the amazing football games, ice skating in Pegula, or just movie nights in the apartment, every weekend is great with the friends you make at Penn State.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Get to know your professors! Professors are always willing to help students and they're the best way to get through your tough classes. Visit their office hours to get input on homework, quizzes and exams. It'll make your classes exponentially more bearable. Also, it's a great way to prepare yourself to have professor recommendations in the future.

What do you plan to do after graduation? Most likely going into industry on the west coast. Hopefully sticking with Microsoft :)

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Football games for sure. The atmosphere of football games at Penn State is just something that can not be explained. Grab a group of friends and head up to the stadium for one of the best experiences you can only have at Penn State!
