Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I grew up in State College and always knew Penn State would be the right fit for me. I loved the school and they have an amazing engineering program. I loved all of the school spirit and how much commaradery there was. Ultimately, the amount of opportuntiies that I knew would be available for me at Penn State made it an easy choice for me.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My favorite memory from my engineering studies was when the Penn State Wind Energy Club got first place at the national competition. I got to work with students from different majors and push myself to become a better student and person. The experience taught me a lot and was a big reason behind my decision to puruse my PhD.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? My advice to a first-year engineering student would be to try new things. College is a great time for you to learn about yourself and other people. You should keep an open mind and push yourself to go outside of your comfort zone. It will help you grow, learn, and become a better person.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I will be attending Penn State to study Neural Engineering.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience outside of engineering has been making so many great friends. When I close my eyes and think of Penn State, it is the amazing people I have met that come to mind.
