Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I always knew that I wanted to go to a bigger university that could provide me with opportunities that would get me out of my comfort zone. I had applied to Penn State randomly since it is so well known for its academics simply to see if I would get in. After getting my acceptance letter, my dad and I decided to fly out and take a tour of campus. I knew instantly Penn State was the school for me. The campus and the overall atmosphere was (and still is) a perfect fit!

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? The best memories I have are the ones where I apply my knowledge as a student in real life scenarios. Whether it was at my internship or just everyday tasks, I love utilizing the tools I have achieved here at Penn State.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Don't get intimidated when you first start out. You will meet lots incredible people that have achieved some really incredible things. Not to mention, it will be a big adjustment from high school classes. You just have to remember you were accepted for a reason and PSU will provide countless opportunities for you to do incredible things too!

What do you plan to do after graduation? I hope to begin a career in the medical field. More specifically, I hope to work for a company that deals with prosthesis.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Definitely our homecoming game against Michigan where we won in the game's fourth overtime. Not only was it our homecoming game, it was also our 'White Out' game for the season and Michigan was undefeated. There was so much excitement going into the game that I can't even put into words the excitement all of State College had after the game. Football is forever ruined for me because I will always compare every game to to that one. It's safe to say there is no contest.
