Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I choose Penn State because of the enthusiasm. Penn Staters love and support their town, their major, and their school. In return, the school does the same for the students. There is so much energy here that it's easy to feed off of it and be apart of the school.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My favorite memory was getting a call from Boeing saying I was offered an internship position for the summer. At that moment, it became very real to me that there are so many incredible opportunities at Penn State and my future is limitless.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Live in E-House. It's close to campus and a great place to make friends. E-House has helped my GPA, gave me great study habits, and it's how I met my closest friends. Plus, it was close to all of my classes!
What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan on working in industry while I continue learning. This could be in the form of a Masters Degree or just taking classes that spark my interest. I never want to stop learning.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience outside of engineering has definitely been singing with my choir through the School of Music. There are so many talented people outside of the school of engineering and I am lucky to know some of them.
