Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to go to Penn State because it is has an excellent combination of academics, location, and athletics.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student was when my thermodynamics group came across a pretty difficult homework problem. Using my understanding of different relationships I was able to explain an equation to my group that took three pages and many hours to derive. It was a small but monumental in showing how my hard work and perseverance paid off.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Have patience. Understanding and knowledge take time.

What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduation I hope to work for an engineering company abroad. I would love to have the opportunity to experience a different culture while utilizing all I have learned at Penn State.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience outside of engineering has come from my involvement in athletics at Penn State. There is an indescribable feeling of accomplishment finishing an exhausting work out before most people are even out of bed. It keeps me going.
