Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose Penn State because of all the opportunities and resources available. If you could go to one of the best engineering schools and also be a part of one of the best student sections in the world, how could you pass that up?
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student thus far would be going to see Dr. Michio Kaku speak about the future and what he thinks will happen. He is such a great writer, speaker, and thinker and he is just one example of the accomplished speakers that Penn State attracts.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? I would say to stay focused but at the same time don't get overwhelmed. There is a lot to do as an engineer and there is even more to do at Penn State. Don't worry about everything that happens, try to learn from your mistakes and grow as a person.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan on finding a rewarding career in an engineering field that interests me and hopefully going back to school at some point for my Master's degree.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best memory outside of engineering would be rushing the center of the student section in the closing seconds of the Illinois game last year to help their kicker lose the would-be game winning field goal.
