Why did you choose to come to Penn State? The opportunities! Penn State is so great because it has the feel of a tight-knit community, but there are so many different clubs and programs to get involved in. On a given night I can choose to go play basketball, meet up with a club to work on a project, or go see one of the amazing Penn State teams play with friends. Also Penn State has a great reputation with employers and the can prepare students for the world after college.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? Getting to see a lecture about the history of Beaver Stadium and learning about all the work engineers put in to design, improve, and maintain the structure over time.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Have good time management skills. That way you can work hard in the classroom and library, but still be able to play sports and hang out and meet some new friends.

What do you plan to do after graduation? Hopefully get a job where I can help make an impact on the world.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Being on the floor for the final four hours and total reveal of THON 2012.
