Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I came for the Spend a Summer Day program and just from interacting with the alumni, I could tell that everyone here is a family. People reach out to help and make me feel welcomed, and I could tell this from just the very beginning..

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? WEPO because I had an amazing time, and also met wonderful people who I have still stayed in touch with. I also learned core skills I needed to stay in engineering and grow as a student.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Learn time management. As an engineering major, we also need other activities to balance with the time consuming course load, this can be a great stress reliever. However, this isn't possible without good time management.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I plan to use the engineering I have learned to help turn new energy sources into a more economically efficient resource.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? I got to run across the Beaver Stadium field during the summer.
