Why did you choose to come to Penn State? When beginning the college search, my parents and I decided to visit schools in Pennsylvania. Ever since I stepped foot onto the Penn State campus, I fell in love with the school. It has a beautiful atmosphere, there is a great Engineering Program, so much school spirit and pride, and many opportunities available.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? As an engineering student, I would have to say my best memory so far was attending the Women in Engineering Program Orientation. I got the chance to meet so many other girls in engineering and develop close relationships, as well take part in many fun activities. It was a great experience and really helped me settle into college.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? It is very important to get involved and and take advantage of the all the opportunities that Penn State has to offer. Try new things to find out what you love, and stick with it.
What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduation, I plan to enter the workforce.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience outside of engineering at Penn State has definitely been THON! It is an amazing feeling being a part of THON and raising money for pediatric cancer. There is so much energy and pride. Definitely get involved with THON if you can!
