Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to attend Penn State because of the diverse educational opportunities and extra curricular activities that a Penn State student has available to them. Also, my sister is an alumni of Penn State’s College of Engineering (COE) and I knew that she had a great experience in the COE and at Penn State overall.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best experience as a Penn State engineering student was traveling to Shanghai, China with Undergraduate Teaching Research Engineering Education group.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Don’t get overwhelmed! There are so many great opportunities to get involved and it can be overwhelming. Try out new things and see what you like.
What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduation I would really like to work for a couple years as an engineer. During this time I would like to apply to masters programs that combine engineering and public policy.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience at Penn State outside of engineering has been meeting so many new people.
