Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose Penn State because they were one of the most highly rated schools for their engineering program. I also loved the feel of the campus and people. I knew it could become my home away from home.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as engineering student was actually the summer before my freshman year. I was involved in a six week pre-first year engineering program (PreF). Not only did a I get a preview of the upcoming college courses but I made so many friends. To this day the people I met during those six weeks are some of my best friends on campus.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Start of the year right by focusing on your studies and building a strong GPA.It is much easier to start off high than to try and raise your GPA throughout the later semesters.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I am still wavering between pursuing a graduate degree or working full-time for Dow Chemical Company. I have decided to just apply to both and weigh my options come graduation (crosses fingers)!

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Becoming an RA was an eye-opening experience for me! I made new friends outside of engineering. Plus who can say no to free room and board. :)
