Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose Penn State because I felt like it would provide me with a great college experience. It has a reputable engineering program as well as a lot of ways to get involved on campus. Attending my first Penn State football game easily sealed the deal.

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? I have had a lot of great memories as a Penn State engineer. The memory that stands out first would probably be my EDSGN 100 class that I took my freshman year. It was my first "real" engineering class, and it introduced me to a number of other engineering students.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Work hard, but don't get too caught up with studying that you miss out on the rest of your college experience. Penn State has over 900 clubs and organizations that you can get involved in, so make sure to take advantage of it.

What do you plan to do after graduation? After graduating, I hope to move into industry and obtain a job dealing with nuclear design.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? There is no competition: THON is by far my best experience. Words cannot even begin to describe the atmosphere at THON. It is something that you have to experience firsthand.
