Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I chose to come to Penn State because of the great engineering reputation it has. I was always fond of the Big Ten because my older sister went to Michigan State, and when I visited Penn State I knew it was the school for me!

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? My best memory as an engineering student would have to be finals week of Spring 2012. Three of my friends and I were studying for a computer science final very late at night. We found an empty room in the IST building and ordered a ton of pizza and insomnia cookies!

What advice would you give a first-year engineer?I would say DO NOT GIVE UP! I was overwhelmed by the size of the student body and my class load at first, but I stuck with it and could not imagine a better place for me. Not to mention a better major! I love the people I have met in engineering and the things I am learning about.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I have not completely decided what I plan on doing after graduation. I hope to either continue my education at graduate school, or work in industry. Things are always changing in my life and I am open to anything!

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience outside of engineering at Penn State has definitely been being apart of my sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha. It is a way to branch out and meet people who are not necessarily in your classes. Through my sorority I have gained friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
