Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I came to Penn State because of its great engineering program, the clubs and organizations, and I just loved the campus.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? By far, my best engineering experience was going to Africa with the Penn State Chapter of Engineers Without Borders. We worked on sanitation and a water project for a school and a community in Sierra Leone. It was a life changing experience where I was able to use my engineering skills to help improve the lives of the people in the community.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Get involved with clubs and organizations, both inside and outside of your major, and utilize all the resources available to you.
What do you plan to do after graduation? Take the summer off to travel around Europe and work for a company that deals with environmental and sustainability issues.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My first white out football game!
