Why did you choose to come to Penn State? Penn State is the school that has everything to make a perfect college experience. The academics, the school spirit, the people and the sports. Add to that a beautiful campus and it made a perfect match for me! The College of Engineering has so many tools and opportunities to offer. There are over 900 clubs and, of course, there's always something to do. You will never be bored at Penn State. To the prospective students reading this: there are no reasons not to come to Penn State

What has been your best memory as an engineering student? I'm not sure if I can choose from so many good memories, but my favorite experience has been proving to myself that I overcome obstacles and reach my goals. I have learned so much about myself while being here, and that's something that I couldn't put a price on. These have been some of the best years of my life, and I'm really excited for everything that's about to come.

What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Go to the involvement fairs and attend as many club meetings as you can! It's a great way to make friends and enhance your college experience. Penn State has so many things to offer, no matter what your tastes/preferences are. I guarantee you’ll find something you’ll like.

What do you plan to do after graduation? I would really like to be involved in environmental engineering. I could do anything from field work to sales, as long as it has something to do with sustainability.

What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My best experience has absolutely been meeting so many amazing people. The people I've met at Penn State have changed my life. You'll be taught by professors that are the best in the field they teach, you'll meet incredibly smart students, and you'll make friends for the rest of your life. It's a very enriching experience to come in contact with so many new people and learn something about each of them.
