Why did you choose to come to Penn State? I didn't want to at first, but once I applied and got in I came to visit and began to really like the school. There are enough great things, like the campus, the good engineering school, the different clubs, football games, that it was difficult not to like.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? Working on RepRap 3-D printers. This is an awesome project that combines so many different ideas into one real engineering project. It's a great experience, and the best part is being able to print out anything you want.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? Whatever you decide to do, get involved. There are so many interesting people to meet here, but it is on you to go out and meet them.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I would like to go to graduate school in Mechanical Engineering.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? My favorite experience at Penn State was the first big football game I went to my freshman year. It was incredible to be in the student section for that, and I have enjoyed it every time since.
