Why did you choose to come to Penn State? When I saw Penn State's campus I knew I wanted to come here. It was your typical college atmoshphere, like something out of a movie. And once I learned what a great engineering program the school had it was pretty much a no-brainer.
What has been your best memory as an engineering student? Getting the E-mail that told me I had secured an internship for the summer of 2013. It just made all the hard work for all the difficult classes worth it and I was so happy.
What advice would you give a first-year engineer? I would tell them not to get discouraged. There is a learning curve before you figure out how you best at college, so make sure you work especially hard before the first couple exams. Also, just go to class and do the work all the time.
What do you plan to do after graduation? I hope to have secured a full time position by the time I graduate from Penn State.
What has been your best experience outside of engineering at Penn State? Last year I participated in Phi Eta Sigma's Thon Committee. This was a great experience. I met a lot of cool new people and was able to raise money for THON, which is such a great cause.
