Engineering Career Resources & Employer Relations
The Engineering Career Resources & Employer Relations office in the College of Engineering serves as a comprehensive career development resource for all Penn State undergraduate and graduate engineering students, including both students in the College of Engineering and students pursuing engineering majors in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (i.e., Materials Science and Engineering (MATSE) and majors within the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering).
We assist students with the development of the job search skills and tools they will need to secure co-op, internship, research, and permanent full-time positions and we help them make connections with hiring employers, both through the eCareer job search system and by means of both large and small career events and activities.
We also offer our services to employers, including representatives from the more than 1,000 companies and organizations that recruit engineering students each year. We help employers connect with students seeking co-op, internship, research, and permanent full-time positions through the eCareer online job posting system. We also help employers make face-to-face connections with students by arranging and promoting career fairs, recruitment days, and career-related informational activities.
Additionally, we provide career-related information and resources to Penn State faculty and staff and to the parents and family members of Penn State engineering students.
