Suggested attire for career fairs and networking receptions is business professional (i.e., interview suit). Business casual attire is recommended for information sessions unless otherwise indicated.

Naval Nuclear Laboratory Recruiting Day

Representatives from the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP), which includes Naval Reactors/the U.S. Navy, Naval Nuclear Laboratory, and Bechtel Plant Machinery, Incorporated, will be available to talk to students about internship, co-op, and full-time positions and to answer any questions.

The NNPP is comprised of military and civilian personnel who design, operate, maintain, and manage the nuclear-powered ships and facilities that support the U.S. naval fleet through a network of dedicated research labs, nuclear-capable shipyards, equipment contractors, equipment suppliers, and training facilities that are centrally controlled by a small headquarters staff.

Drop in between classes; casual attire. All engineering majors are welcome.
Naval Nuclear Laboratory Information Session

Naval Nuclear Laboratory Executive Manager and Penn State alumnus Tom Sambolt will provide information about the facilities and about internship, co-op, and full-time job opportunities. Students interested in co-op positions starting in January 2018 should be undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in CHE, CMPEN, software engineering, EE, NUCE, ME, MATSE, CSE, or IST. Undergraduate students must have completed at least their first year by June 2017. U.S. citizenship is required. Requisition #18051 will be posted from January 11–29, 2017 on the Naval Nuclear Laboratory website.
