Suggested attire for career fairs and networking receptions is business professional (i.e., interview suit). Business casual attire is recommended for information sessions unless otherwise indicated.

AT&T Shape Challenge

AT&T is looking for students to submit entries highlighting technology research projects that they are working on within three categories: Augmented Networks, Smart Cities, and Connected Things. Prizes include a specific student category with an additional prize of $25,000, meaning any student entry has the potential to win up to $90K. This challenge is a great opportunity to showcase your technology projects to a wide audience. Entries are due by May 6, although the competition finals will be held in mid-July. The Fall Engineering Networking Reception gives engineering students and recruiters the opportunity to meet and mingle in an informal atmosphere prior to the Technical Recruiting Day at Fall Career Days. Employers may register now. A student RSVP will be available in early fall 2016.

Industrial Engineering Career Fair

This event, hosted by the Penn State Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), is for all IE students. Prospective employer participants should register to attend by Friday, August 12 and contact Wes Dickson or CJ Winand, IISE Corporate Chairs, with any questions. Sponsorship opportunities are available. The employer registration fee is $250.
