EE 211 is designed for independent learning, meaning that students will work individually through the course material.

The course typically will follow the university academic calendar for start and end dates. Students are allowed to accelerate the pace of the course, for earlier completion. Conflicts with the course dates should be referred to Deb Zimmerman (dlz1@psu.edu). Exceptions will be granted after review.

Each week will also have:

The plan of study for each week should progress through the following steps:

1. Review and/or print the lesson notes for use when viewing the lesson movies

2. Examine and study the lesson movies

3. Solve the sample problems and check results with the provided solutions

4. Read the assigned sections from the textbook

5. Complete the graded on-line quiz (students can repeat the quizzes an unlimited number of times, the highest score is the only recorded grade)

6. Complete the graded homework assignment and submit it to the instructor for grading via fax at (814) 865-3969 or email: awm5@psu.edu

7. Students must self-report their progress in the course to the instructor each week on Monday for a weekly participation grade

8. Post any questions regarding the lessons and/or reactions to the lessons to the course discussion list in Angel

Exams

You will be required to find a proctor or proctors that will administer the midterm and final exams.

Print then complete this Proctor Information Form and return it to our office at least one week prior to exams.
