EE 497C Wireless Communications
Course
Description
EE 497C Wireless Communications
discusses analysis and design of the radio frequency (RF) building blocks
which comprise a wireless communications system. This course builds on the
electronic circuit design in EE 310 and the PSPICE usage for circuit
analysis and the equipment used in CSE 275 and EE 310. It develops concepts
current taught in EE 367 and EE 350 for analog and digital modulation. It
provides a basis for subsequent courses such as EE 453 and EE 459. Topics in
the wireless area relate to economic and manufacturability concepts as
global competition determines second and third generation specifications.
