NucE 403 Advanced Reactor
Design
Course
Description
Physical principles and
computational methods for reactor analysis and design. Multi-group diffusion
theory; determination of fast and thermal group constants; cell calculations
for heterogeneous core lattices.
The Course Project will require
students to access PSU Engineering Servers with VPN and SSH software
clients. The project will also utilize the PSU couple code NEM/CTF running
on PC under Windows environment. You must have access to a Window OS
computer to complete the Course Project.
