Description
Nuclear Engineering
(NucE) 501, Reactor Engineering, a three-credit course covering
thermal-hydraulics fundamentals, single-phase flow and two-phase flow
formulations, one-dimensional analysis of reactor systems and fuel elements,
mixture and two-fluid formulations, basic two-phase flow phenomena.

heated channels. Prerequisite:
NucE430 (or equivalent); or ME 410 (or equivalent); or ME 300 and ME320 (or
equivalent)
