NucE 521 Neutron Transport Theory

Course Description

This course is completely Web based and is delivered in ANGEL through On-Demand Streaming Video. It follows a paced semester schedule and requires students to complete homework, quizzes, projects, and exams as scheduled during the semester. The Course Project will require students to access PSU Engineering Servers with VPN and SSH software clients.

PSU Course Catalog Description

NUC E 521 NEUTRON TRANSPORT THEORY ( 3) Derivation of Boltzmann equation for neutron transport; techniques of approximate and exact solution for the monoenergetic and spectrum regenerating cases. Prerequisite: NUC E 403 or PHYS 406

The Course Project will require students to access PSU Engineering Servers with VPN and SSH software clients.

The use of Mac OS computers in not supported in this course.
