NucE 596 Professional Topics in Nuclear Engineering

Course Description

This is a special topics course where the student picks an advisor from the faculty and an advisor from work and writes a professional paper on a topic chosen by the student.  Scholarly Paper. M.Eng. in Nuclear Engineering

 

bulletThis is a requirement for the M.Eng in Nuclear Engineering
bulletYou must register for 3 credits for NucE 596
bulletThe paper should be well written, formatted and carefully prepared. We require that students follow the format template used for M.Sc. theses found at http://css.its.psu.edu/theses/ , which although designed for MS theses provides a good unified format for the M.Eng. papers.

 

SPRING 2013 Deadlines and Schedule - IF YOU INTEND TO GRADUATE SPRING 2013 you must:

Activate your Intent to Graduate form on eLion from January 7 thru January 21, 2013

bullet

Completed draft must be submitted to your advisor for review by February 22, 2013

bullet

Have your paper completed and submitted for FINAL review by April 9, 2013 (2nd review for your advisor)

bullet

No later than April 16, 2013 final paper with signatures must be submitted to LaTrisha Hough in the MNE department graduate office.

You must have submitted your paper to your advisor prior to the FINAL review date of April 9, 2013

bullet

Do not wait until this date to make your first submission to your advisor - you will not be eligible to graduate

 

SUMMER 2013 Deadlines and Schedule - IF YOU INTEND TO GRADUATE SUMMER 2013 you must:

Activate your Intent to Graduate form on eLion from May 6 thru June 17, 2013

bullet

Completed draft must be submitted to your advisor for review by June 21, 2013

bullet

Have your paper completed and submitted for FINAL review by July 16, 2013 (2nd review for your advisor)

bullet

No later than July 31, 2013 final paper with signatures must be submitted to LaTrisha Hough in the MNE department graduate office.

You must have submitted your paper to your advisor prior to the FINAL review date of July 16, 2013

bullet
