Office of Engineering Diversity,
through its Women in Engineering
Program, offers programs programs to introduce young women to the
Engineering profession.

Penn State
Weather Camp.
The
Eberly College of Science offers the
Science-U program to
advance science literacy in youth. The Science-U programs intend to create
and implement research-supported and faculty-supported programs, services,
and experiences that excite and engage K-12 students, educators,
undergraduate and graduate students, higher education faculty and staff, and
partnering community members in the STEM fields (Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math).

State offers numerous sports camps and

The
Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium, headquartered at University Park,
sponsors numerous projects, programs and activities for K-12 educators and
students. Some of the opportunities occur at The Pennsylvania State
University, some occur at an affiliate's location, and some occur at other
remote places, such as a school or a NASA Center.

one-stop, youth-oriented web site. At this site, youth and their parents
can browse featured programs, search interest areas, or even look up
activities scheduled for specific dates. In addition, the site allows
visitors to sign up for a free membership with benefits including updates on
programs of interest and access to a chatroom message board. The site has
easy links to activities of particular interest to youth including 4-H,
Governor’s School, Penn State for Youth Programs, Sport Camps and Shaver’s
Creek Environmental Center. Penn State offers a wide array of youth programs
for ages ranging from 6 to 18.
