Harold E. Pellow and Associates, Inc. (HPA), a consulting engineering firm established in 1969, is seeking assistant / entry level engineers and a summer intern at our Augusta, New Jersey office in scenic northwestern New Jersey. The HPA team consists of licensed engineers, planners, CAD specialists and landscape architects. Ninety percent of our work is for public agencies, which includes municipal, county and the New Jersey Department of Transportation projects. As our firm aims to expand our market share and continue to meet the growing demands of our long standing clients we are seeking energetic, motivated and qualified engineers. HPA offers a wide variety of challenging design opportunities including municipal roadway to state highway design, civil site design, storm water management design, environmental permitting, parks and recreation design and the design of water and waste water facilities.

Assistant Engineer: Will work under the supervision of licensed engineers designing and preparing plans and specifications for various civil related projects. Construction observation and reporting is also required. Applicant should be motivated to work on transportation, municipal infrastructure, storm water management, and site development projects. A BS degree in Civil Engineering and 0 to 4 years relevant experience are required. Excellent computer skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD, good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

Summer Engineering Intern: Civil Engineering student for summer employment between May and August 2007. Will assist engineers and CAD specialists in the design and plan preparation of various roadway and civil related projects. Familiarity with AutoCAD and good computer skills are essential.
